The Biopharm pH/Oxygen Reduction Potential (ORP) Electrode Storage Solution is a reliable and effective solution for electrode storage, containing 1M KCl and other beneficial Constituents. The solution is safe to use with all pH meters and multipurpose meters without damaging the probes. It also contains a substance that inhibits microbial growth. The solution is not manufactured to be pH 4.00 for calibration purposes but has a pH of around 4 to impede microbe growth and keep the probe clean. Overall, customers were pleased with the accuracy, Consistency, and longevity of their meters since using this solution. Some felt that it was an excellent value for the cost but others were unhappy with the lack of a safety seal on the bottle and the messy residue it leaves.
