WIX 58369 Transmission Filter

The WIX 58369 Transmission Filter has garnered mixed feedback from customers, with many focusing on the performance of the filter itself while expressing dissatisfaction with the accompanying gasket. Customers have reported that the filter fits well in various compatible Chevrolet and GMC models, such as the 2009 Tahoe and 2008 Chevy 2500 HD. The installation process was generally straightforward, with some users noting that replacement seals were somewhat difficult to remove, but manageable once removed. Overall, the filter is praised for its functionality, with users stating that it performs great after installation. However, the product's gasket has received Consistent criticism. Several customers found the provided gasket to be flimsy and of poor quality, resulting in leaks that could cause significant issues. Many recommended reusing the OE (original equipment) gasket instead, as it was deemed far superior in quality. The varying experiences regarding the gasket's compatibility also led to frustration, with some customers unable to use the gasket at all due to size discrepancies with their transmission pans. In summary, while the WIX 58369 Transmission Filter excels in performance and fit for many vehicles, the gasket included with the filter has been a point of contention, leading customers to seek alternatives or risk leaks in their transmissions. **
