The Quentacy Mini Motion Sensor Light Switch has received mixed reviews from customers. Some have reported that it worked straight out of the box with great sensitivity, others have found that it does not work at all. One reviewer, who is a state licensed electrical contractor, found that it did not turn on or off a 120 volt fixture. The sensor and unit housing are reported to be great and work well, but some customers have raised concerns about the wire gauge used, which is small and not appropriately gauged for permanent light fixtures. The delay time also varies with some reporting it to be closer to 30 seconds instead of the 5 minutes as described. The quality control has also been reported to have issues with the middle two wires being swapped in the connector, which could confuse some trying to install. Overall, the Quentacy Mini Motion Sensor Light Switch is a great item at a great price, but requires buyer caution/knowledge to avoid fires and code violations.
