How long does it record from VHS to DVD?
Respuesta: That depends. If you're recording on a stand-alone DVD recorder, you could get up to 6 hours on a disc at the longest play speed. Most DVD recorders have 2, 4, and 6 hour modes. Expect to lose quality on the longest play speeds. The two-hour speed will give you roughly the same quality as on the tape. Now, if you're dubbing onto a computer, how long you can record will depend on the software you're using. -

Respuesta: Most definitely. I assume it has been recorded from tv, and now you want to copy it to DVD to keep. I copy to watch later, as I am busy, and find the DVD recorder compresses the data when copying - I can get about 3 two-hour movies on one disc. And Maxell has the most reliable record of any brand I have tried. -

The Maxell MAX638014 16x DVD-R Media is a reliable product that can hold a large number of videos and pictures. It can also record up to 6 hours on a disc at longest play speed. However, the DVDs are single layered and burn quality is not as good as they used to be, as some users reported their burner rejects them often. The DVDs have enough space for your comments but information is included on the 'upper' side. Overall, the Maxell DVD-R Discs work very nicely and are recommended for general use.
