The Cold Steel Kobun Tanto knife is a great surprise and is worth the purchase price due to its excellent quality, finish, and grip. The factory edge on the blade is very good and the knife is made of stainless steel. However, the handle may be small for some users and the knife is not recommended for survival purposes. The knife comes with a molded plastic (Kydex) sheath which is adequate to protect the blade and its owner. Overall, the knife is one of the best values out there and is recommended for anyone looking for a light Tanto-style knife for civilian use or self-defense.
