However, repeated body separations may cause damage to the connectors in the long run. The lights draw very little power from the battery and do not have a noticeable impact on battery life. The kit does not come with screws, zip ties, or templates, and may require modifications to fit on some vehicles. Some users have had issues with loose connections and broken amplifiers, and have had to send the product back for repair or replacement. Overall, this product is a great addition to the Traxxas X-Maxx with its easy installation and great look.
