The Klein Tools Carpet Shear with Ring is a decent tool for cutting carpet, but it is not spectacular. Some customers have found it to be no better than cheap scissors found at the dollar store. However, other customers have found these shears to be extremely effective in cutting through thick felt rug pads with ease, without any hand cramps or blisters. The grip handles are comfortable, but the shears may not be as sharp and strong as advertised.
