The VocoPro Digital Conference Microphones are unidirectional and are designed to only pick up the speaker when the speaker is talking directly into the microphone. The microphones work exceptionally well for conference setups where side conversations should be left out, making it more of a feature than a flaw. The downside to the microphones is that there is a learning curve as people need gentle reminders to speak directly into the microphone. The batteries last for about 6 hours on average, which is sufficient for most meetings. Unfortunately, you cannot order the VocoPro wireless microphone system with 12 conference microphones, 2 hand-held microphones, and 2 beltpacks with mics; it's only available as a package of 16 table-top wireless microphones.
