The OTC 3398 Fuel Injection Pulse Tester is a tool designed to pulse individual injectors with three different pulse rates. This tool comes with a Ford connector and two extra wires for other connectors, but it needs to be used in conjunction with a pressure gauge. The unit includes an alternate connector Consisting of two female pin connectors that can connect to any injector. It comes with an explanatory manual. The tester can be used on a 03 Dodge Cummins common rail engine. Customer experience and reception: - Some people have had to return the product for a replacement due to circuit board damage. - It is an easy tool to use with proper knowledge and experience. - The product is very flimsily and cheaply made for the price. - It is a great product to find leaking injectors and is easy to use. - Some customers have stated that the plug is very limited unless it is modified. - One review stated that the product was good quality and easy to use. - Another review didn't provide any information other than they loved the product. - One reviewer warned not to short the output (t-pins). - The tool is said to be great for injector flow testing if instruments with fuel pressure can be used.
