It is more expensive than other products on the market, but it is the best option for those who want to properly support most hot swap bays. The AdaptaDrive unit appears sturdy, has great packaging and comes with all the parts needed for installation. However, while some users had no problems with fitting the adapter, others found it confusing and couldn't see how it connected to the old brackets. One customer received the product broken and had to return it. Overall, the AdaptaDrive is highly recommended for iMac models from 2007 onwards, as well as PC users.
