The grey gum rubber side provides a quieter, realistic rebound ideal for beginners, while the firmer black side challenges your technique with its less forgiving surface. The 12-inch size strikes a balance between portability and adequate playing space, ensuring it's effective for developing stick control and rhythm without the full noise of a drum set.
