Direct dyes like bright pinks, blues, greens, lavenders, purples, etc., or color depositing conditioners are not affected by this product. It takes some time and effort to remove the dye completely. It's recommended that those with long hair buy two boxes to avoid running out in the middle of application, and it's important to fully saturate the hair. Some other safe at-home methods that can be tried to remove the dye are straight dawn dishwashing liquid, clarifying or dandruff shampoo, and crushed vitamin C tablets. It can be harmful to hair if not used correctly or if done too often after dyeing the hair. Developlus Color Oops Color Remover Extra Strength does not work on Henna, and it can not perform on direct color dyes. One would need to seek professional help for using Loreal Effesol or Joico Color Eraser that might work but could be damaging. Matrix Brass Off is used to brighten the hair conditions when the hair has become yellow.

- -Developlus Color Oops Color Remover Extra Strength helps to remove oxidative hair dye. -Works well for some customers and removes hair color entirely. -It did not damage some users' hair. -The product is designed for all hair types. -Color Oops will not affect the natural hair color. -Less expensive than other hair color removers in the market.

- -Does not work for direct dyes or non-oxidative hair color. -It can be a little time-Consuming and require extra care while applying and rinsing. -Users suggest that it has a bad smell that remains on the hair even ten days after use. -It can dry out the hair and create tangling and breakage. -It doesn't work well on some dye colors. -It can produce undesirable effects such as green, yellow, and orange tones.
