They are the fifth generation of the Srixon Z Star series and were released in 2017. These balls are said to have a softer feel than previous models and have improved the outer layer. They are generally less expensive than the popular Pro V1 balls and have been compared to them by some reviewers. The balls were given as a gift to one reviewer who found them to be very durable and have great soft feel. However, another reviewer found these balls very heavy and lacking in feel, compared to Pro V1 balls. Other reviewers love the balls' great soft feel, distance on hits and magical properties on putting.
