The clip-on bracket is not much stronger than what you'd find in a pair of clip-on sunglasses and tends to pull your glasses off your face. The biggest drawback is the limited adjustability which can be a problem with progressive lenses, and the noticeable amount of chromatic aberration - colored fringes are visible above and below objects on the TV. They also tend to fall back down, making the flip-up feature pretty useless. However, the magnifying glasses are well-made and come in a nicely cushioned case.
