The Amphony Multichannel Wireless Audio Transmitter, Model 800, transmits 4 audio channels up to 300ft and connects to the receiver to make surround sound speakers wireless. Unfortunately, it requires a wired power connection, and there are concerns that leaving both the transmitter and speakers on causes heat to build up and electrical issues after several months. The transmitter must be purchased separately from the wireless receivers, Models 800 or 880. It is not possible to stream Bluetooth with this product. It is important to note that without a line of sight, audio transmission at 100 yards or 300ft will not be possible. There can be interference if used with other 2.4 GHz wireless audio products. Fortunately, customer service has been very responsive in addressing questions and troubles.
