Using it correctly is essential, but once mastered, Consistent and clean impressions can easily be obtained using a mallet. The stamp is slightly larger than 1 inch, making a 1.25-inch-wide by 1-inch-tall impression. The stamp is not a branding iron and should be used only on tooling leather after wetting it. For best results, use a clamping or pressing technique and wait for a few hours before removing the clamp.
