It cannot eliminate brushstrokes, but the paint layer needs to be thick enough and apply with an airbrush. It is excellent for use on an address sign outside and has held up fine with the acrylic paints. However, any paint will fade over time. This product can be used as a medium for spraying acrylic paint, with a brush there should be no problem, but it cannot be used as a varnish.
