Customers have worn them for hiking, shoveling snow in single digit temperatures and in -20C without any problems. The boots are very warm and comfortable with a removable felt liner that's easy to dry. They don't slip on ice and have a supportive leather side Construction. Some customers have found that the boot is designed to fit wide feet and calves with extra room for 3 pairs of socks, whilst others found that the sizing runs large, in some cases a 9 fits like a 10. Some customers complain that the liner can slide around within the footbed, which can be annoying. The boots are manufactured in Asia with some customers saying they are made in Canada.
